I looked up some topics around the web, and very popular one is: Abortion. The post I found read:
My personal view is to generally not have one. I am not a woman, I cannot physically do what women do, so I try to avoid the issue/having an opinion due to the fact that I simply do not know what it is like.
I have shared my views in old videos, but those times have passed and my opinions are nowhere near as strong as they once were.
With that being said, maybe you do feel you should share your opinion. So, what is on your mind?
It is a woman's choice if she wants to have an abortion. That is up to her and no one else.
Just to add to the absolute ignorant stance on abortion you shared, one thing stood out to me: just because of a WOMAN’S MISTAKE.
It takes two to tango, always.
A man doesn’t “accidentally” cum inside anybody.
If it’s a MISTAKE at all, which it shouldn’t be, because you both knew the risks unless they were sabotaged (condoms gone wrong, BC gone wrong), both the man and the woman know what CAN happen if you cum inside anybody.
Why is the woman to blame?
Men shouldn't tell a woman what to do,her body, her choice.
For obvious reasons It should always be the woman's decision. Her body, her choice.
I think we need to take a long hard look into why people are getting abortions. A lot of us are poor, living paycheque to paycheque and absolutely could not afford to take care of a child. Most abortions in the US are done by middle class christian white women, so it seems a little suspiciously that now they are wanting to ban them. In the reasoning for reversing RvW they mentioned the decline in national supply of babies.. I am 100% pro choice. If you support medicine, plastic surgery or any other form of healthcare, why would you be against abortions, even as a form of "contraception". If someone doesn't want to be pregnant, to have yo take care of a child and to put their lives on pause for over 9 months, thats their choice.
Wait, the friend said it wasn’t hard putting their dog down because they weren’t there? Like all the memories and feelings about the dog no longer matter because they weren’t there at the death? Wtf?!?! Back to the topic, I agree that abortion should not be used as an alternative to contraception, which is why in the UK you need 2 doctors to sign off on the abortion. However, if it is deemed that the mother is unable to provide an adequate quality of life for the child, then I think that is reason enough for abortion to be justified. Getting pregnant shouldn’t be taken lightly, but neither should having a baby, and people shouldn’t be forced to have to do that if they don’t want to.
Women's bodies, Women's choice!
I've never had an abortion, and have never been pregnant and that's my personal choice. I plan to never have children, and if I do I plan to adopt rather than birth a child. We're over populated and I'd like to be socially responsible.
That being said, my opinion is that it's their body, their choice. I would much rather someone have an abortion than to be forced to birth a child they don't want. Putting children up for adoption is a choice too, but having known people who went through the system, it's not easy growing up that way, and the system is flooded as is.
I’ve never been pregnant before, so I’ve never had an abortion. Personally, I’m very responsible and cautious about the possibility of getting pregnant because I never want to be in that kind of position. It’s really not about what I would do though, it’s about whether or not it should be legal to get one.
I have had a miscarriage, at 4 months pregnant.
IF YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED THIS, IT IS VERY EMOTIONAL AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS AND SEVERE DEPRESSION. ITS HARD TO GIVE AN OPINION ON SOMETHING VERY TRAGIC YOU HAVE NOT GONE THROUGH.
The definition, of abortion, is "a forced miscarriage".
This is something that happens naturally and frequently to women.
If a woman is raped, if a woman has gotten pregnant on birth control, or a man himself sabotaged the condom (I've heard that as well), or you are just not in a place to have children- absolutely. You should get one.
ALTHOUGH, THIS IS NOT A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL.
I KNOW WOMEN THAT HAVE HAD 9+.
I agree with that person's post. Personally I would never get an abortion. I don't even want to have children but if I ended up pregnant, I would keep the child because I feel it isn't right to have an abortion just because you don't want a baby. It's just one of those things I have mixed feelings on. I'm not for it, but I'm also not against it in some cases.
